Glencairns was founded in 2010 by Greg Cairns on his hydroponic tomato farm in the Eastern Cape. Trading from a modest shed, the company supplied local East London farmers and nurseries with greenhouse film and basic commodities. The company grew from strength to strength and quickly became a key supplier in the Eastern Cape.

In 2018 Jannie Fourie and Jaco Saaiman joined forces with Greg to form a new national company. The partners share a passion for agriculture and have years of expertise in hydroponic crop production between them. The collaboration has created a dynamic team who are driven by a collective dedication to customer service and formidable work ethic.

Today we are a proud market leader in hydroponic farming, partnering with top international suppliers and serving clients across the country. Our journey from humble roots to national presence reflects our unwavering focus on innovation, integrity and agricultural excellence.
