Holding Rails (Locking profiles) and springs (wiggle wires)
The holding rail (Locking profile) system Greenhouse wiggle wire and lock channel is a quick and secure way to install and hold greenhouse film on your greenhouse structure.
It involves securing your greenhouse film into a holding rail using a coated spring
Holding profiles are available in 4 m strips, both in Galvanized or Aluminum
The springs are 2 m in length, 2.3 mm thick, galvanized with a blue plastic coating
Woven ground cover
Woven Ground cover, is a permeable weed blocking fabric specifically developed for agricultural, landscape and organic industries. The weaving composition makes sure that water drains and directly infiltrates the soil without damaging the fabric. Ground Cover is an ideal choice for controlling the growth of weeds in nurseries, greenhouses, landscape applications while reducing the use of herbicides.
Ground cover is made of either Polypropylene (PP) or HDPE tapes with UV-stabilizers to ensure longer life span. We supply ground covers in different colours for different applications.

Cucumber shrink wrap
Shrink wrap or film for cucumbers, is a packaging material designed to extend shelf life and maintain quality. The material is transparent with a green tint. It Is used by wrapping individual cucumbers in a thin plastic film that shrinks tightly around the fruit when heat is applied. This process helps to reduce moisture loss, prevent bruising, and protect against contamination, ultimately contributing to a longer shelf life and better presentation.

Horticultural Twine
The product is designed for use as a guide for the correct growth and support on crops such as tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers, etc.
White twine is preferred by growers. The material is a polypropylene base that undergoes a process of fibrillation that provides high flexibility and a smooth touch.
The twine is designed to cradle and support a range of crops. In order to achieve the desired duration, a set of latest-generation stabilisers is incorporated to guarantee effectiveness in the greenhouse or outdoors.
Tomato clips and Hangers
Tomato clips and hangers are used to assist with trellising and the layering of crops. By using clips and hangers growers saves time and reduces the risk of breaking plants.
Perlite and Vermiculite
Glencairns also sources and distributes locally produced horticultural grade Perlite and vermiculite. The product is available in 10 kg bags
